MEET
CAROL WADE, NP
Spot Volunteer Coordinator
ABOUT CAROL:
Carol and her husband, Mike Wade, are now considered Ketchum natives having transplanted themselves here (they thought temporarily) forty-five years ago from "back East." Carol grew up in Pittsburgh, and after marrying Mike, she attended Boston college. Carol's fifty year nursing career included thirty-six years as a nurse practitioner. She retired from that in March, 2023 and is now searching for life's next great challenge.
The sum of her theatrical background is being a backstage helper-mom while sons Connor and Kevin were in every single Sun Valley Community School production for the 14 years they each spent there. In 2018 she began organizing concessions and volunteers for Spot shows.
"I love The Spot because the shows constantly challenge my brain to examine my convictions. It is amazing to see the timely, thrilling, polished work they consistently produce all the while managing busy lives."
