Yanna is a proud Co-Founder of The Spot and a Ketchum based Actor/Director/Educator. Originally from Massachusetts, she earned her BFA from Ithaca College in Acting and has also studied Shakespeare and Classical Acting at LAMDA, and Improv with New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade. She has worked with theaters across the country including Williamstown Theatre Festival, Boston Children's Theatre and the educational department of North Shore Music Theatre. Yanna has also worked locally with St. Thomas Playhouse, The Liberty Theatre Company, Laughing Stock Theater, Sawtooth Productions and Company of Fools.

 

The most gratifying work she gets to do is mentoring the remarkably talented teens and middle schoolers in The Spot’s Young Company programming and creating performance magic. She is thankful to this incredible community for supporting The Spot, to Samuel for being such an exceptional collaborator and friend, and to her husband Brett for being her tree.
