We are absolutely thrilled to present CATS the Musical as the 5th annual Spot Young Company production. Based on the 1939 poetry collection Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot, CATS is a cornerstone of the musical theater canon. The three-time Tony winner tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make the "Jellicle choice," deciding which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.

This tuition-free project features 30 Wood River Valley students lead by eight mentors, and aims to educate and empower through collaboration and commitment as, together, we re-build a historic piece of theater from the ground up.
